A couple people (like, two) have asked me how I color. I had done a tutorial before (Word and Txt form), but it was pretty crappy. So here’s another, more up-to-date, in visual format. Why? Because it forces me to keep things concise and to the point, so I’m not my usual long-winded self. ^_^ This is my personal favorite CG style – the one I use for most of my comics work and pics. Just FYI. Enjoy. And gimme’ some feedback. I’d certainly appreciate it, that I would.
Wow man! You're not only very talented as hell but you're awfully generous, too These tips would come in real handy. I really like the layouts and those illustrated versions of the tutor himself. You make learning to color cg a definite fun thing. If you'd make an entire book like this about drawing and stuff, I'd be one of the first to buy it

Wowies ^^ Very good extensive tutorial, well done!
Fortunately I dont have photoshop, thus I cant try and get my colouring as good as yours, which would take hours, and I would fail. Miserabley.
Good stuff!
woohoooo!!!!! :d
thank you so much, ive been meaning to ask you to make one, but im kinda slow...
but thank you anyways for this very kind deed that you have given to all here (especiially me) this sorts out MANY problems when it comes to photoshop
so thank you and thank you and.. er.. thank you again for this
very helpful indeed
Regardless of the fact I (sadly) lack Photoshop, I still found this very helpful none the less, because now I know about shading with a lower opacity on different layers and I can apply that to other CGing programs I DO have. X3 Sankyuu!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
