The last piece of Spidey fan art for awhile (or at least until I see Spidey 2 again. That movie owns my soul.)

Anyway, I miss the Scarlet Spider, and hope that someday he'll return to mainstream Marvel. (I mean, "Ben Reilly" did show up in the Ultimate U recently, and the daughter of the Black Cat - which was, like, WTF? - became the SS in the MC2's Spider-Girl.) It's one of my goals in life - and possibly the most ambitious one, too - to see him back. Though hell if that could be accomplished NOW, since he did turn to dust on-panel. (Which is about as definite a death as you can get in comics. But then again, when has THAT stopped anyone? ;))

Anyway, 8.5x11 with pencils and pens and a few hours of Photoshopping. The Before and After (as well as a two year incarnation of this same pic) can be found in Scraps. Laters dudes and dude-ettes. :D

EDIT: And the image doesn't seem to come up... again. Ah wells...

I've read at least 1 or 2 scarlet spider comics and they weren't that bad. Nice job on the guy by the way.

I love this picture, i liked the Scarlet Spider too, has one of the coolest costumes. him and black spiderman/venom are my fave costumes ever.

How do you DO these? This pic falls somewhere past awesome, but I don't have a good enough adjective, so we'll leave it at that. Do you draw those backgrounds yourself? Because they're just... neat. And the action pose is also beyond stylish; overall an incredible work ^_^ I hope the Scarlet Spider comes back, too.
