I like to think of this as an RPG boss battle.

You know, that optional boss - the one you're not nearly the right level for. But you poke it with a stick anyway, 'cause you know if you do by some miracle beat it, you'll score bajillions of experience points and level up like a madman.

Ultimately I had to run away from this fight. But... This was one of those cool RPGs, where even though I ran away I still got rewarded an ass-load of experience just for getting a few good licks in. That was this project, totally.

, we worked on this off-and-on for the entire year, though the actual page output could be rounded off as about a month-to-two in the late summer. It was really hard work, too. But something I'm damn proud of doing, as I'd really never tackled a project quite like this one.

Pages drawn on printer paper (actually, this one had a test run on 11x17 - but then I was able to proportion-alize it all to printer paper... Which was... Easier?

Hard to say, now.) Colored in Photoshop. Scripted by Ian Flynn.
