The Badnik car careens off, and Tails intercepts a police and GUN bulletin regarding the caper, relaying it to Sonic via headset. Sonic, being that he’s Sonic, isn’t willing to just sit around and wait, of course, and takes off toward the getaway car. After all, he’d reach them faster than they would him.

I really hated this page – from drawing to coloring it. First time I’d ever drawn Sonic in clothes more than the traditional gloves and sneaks, and I really shoulda’ done some practice sketchwork of that before I tried this page. (The shirt itself – based loosely off a character design in a Pong game a friend and I did some two years ago ( [link]) – was originally yellow. But yellow looked bad. As did green and orange. Hence red. It at least matches the sun glasses and sneakers. )
