A-a-a-and the before, after, and finished of that Cammy pin-up. On the left is the rough sketch, on the right is the inked line-art cleaned up via light-box, and on the right are the finished colors, once again. Thanks for lookin’! …Again, sorta’.
Thanks! Not too long, typically. Something like this I can easilly do in less than a day. Often times I break up the process though. This was one of several pinups drawn the other day. And one of two things I colored a couple days ago. ^^ For personal stuff like this, I tend to break it up to whatever I'm feeling like doing that day.
Thanks for posting this up! It's really interesting seeing how different artists go about their work from the initial drawing to the finished product. I love the way you've drawn everything on top of everything else, so that the outlines of the torso can be seen through the outlines of the limbs, and then other items are objects are simply drawn on top of the existing pose. It's a very clever way of working as it helps keep cosistency in the drawing and keeps everything feeling solid and together. So thanks again for sharing this insisght into your work with us!
