Smash Bros, Est 1999

I've done a couple Smash Bros pics before - one featuring ALL the characters in Brawl, and another featuring MOST of the characters in Smash4WiiU. And I wanted to do another - but this time take it back to the good old days. The original's max of 12 characters is definitely ALOT easier to layout into a single image, that's for sure!

N64 Smash was probably the one I spent the most time playing. I was 14 at the time, and it and Goldeneye were staples at parties and sleepovers amongst my friends. (I also logged quite a bit of time into Melee, but by the time it came out most everyone in my high school had gravitated over to X-Box and the newly released Halo.)  

Pencils and inks on 11x14 Bristol board, colors in Photoshop 7.
